Here are some pics from our wonderful Boat Parade in July.
The Jefferson's "Oregon Trail" was this year's winner, followed by the Buckingham's "Gold Rush", and Wood's "Captain Cook, the Explorer". Most original was the "Mayflower", and Burke's "Lunar Landing" earned a Judges' Choice. Most effort was awarded to Arthur Jennings....... also pictured is the winner of this year's kayak raffle, Ms Morrison.

Where's Lucy?
Every lake has its monster, but few have ever seen Lucy. Lucy lives in Harveys Lake, West Barnet, VT. She was last photographed one evening in the spring of 2008 trying to climb the steps at the Claire & Richard Downer camp. Previously (about 2003), she was observed crawling out of the culvert near the Dufresne camp on Roy Mountain Road.
For a sense of her size: each step is 11-1/2 inches wide. Thus, her shell is about 16 inches wide. Note the white scar on her head. If you see her, send siting date, time, location and a photo to:
